The surface of the sensor is also treated to be scratch and chemically resistant. It operates at 160MHz producing a very high shear rate in liquids. The sensor is fully immersible and can be easily configured for insertion into a myriad of processes. Unaffected by flow or vibration conditions, the APM fluid condition viscosity sensor is operable from 10 to 500 AV (acoustic viscosity). It can be operated in fluids at temperatures ranging from 0°C to +85°C and comes with a smart digital interface.
